When Hurricane Michael hit Danville, VA in October 2018, my parent’s house’s lower level was completely destroyed when the creek behind their house rose up, flooding the lower level 6 feet underwater. Jeff Mason, owner of Piedmont Environmental was an instrumental part of the team that restored my parent’s house. Honest, professional, and a scientist, Jeff understands mold, mold remediation, and prevention. He provided a full estimate with detailed breakdown, so that we could easily work with FEMA on the flood insurance coverage. Meanwhile, there were other businesses who would not provide estimates, and wanted to control the insurance payments, or wanted to avoid the project altogether. When disasters strike, it’s so easy for businesses to take advantage of customers, but we found Jeff and company to be wonderful to work with. My husband and I are architects, and truly value trustworthy subcontractors such as Jeff and his team.
