Waterproofing

Waterproofing your basement or crawl space, if needed, is one of the most important aspects of any remediation project. Keeping the moisture from breaching the porisity of the CMU (Concrete Block) is paramount to help ensure the basement and/or crawl space remain dry, and with the company of dehumidifiers, and along with proper water retarding methods on the outside of a building such as grading and drainage, which is in code.

We dont allow water to seep into a basement, collect it in a channel, basin or any other measure and then pump it back out of the basement. That can, in certain situations, put additional hydrostatic pressure on the foundation walls. We remove the water from the outside without allowing it into the basement in the first place. We use a variety of sealants, products and methods to water proof the porisity of basement or crawl space CMU as welll as commercial concrete foundations. Read our grading and drainage page for more information.
